■Synopsis & Review
A real story of gangsters in the Watts district of LA!
The debut work of Allen & Albert Brother, the new standard-bearers of Black Street Film, both just 20 years old. Set in Los Angeles' Watts district, known for the large-scale riots that occurred in the late 1960s, this film vividly depicts the lives of boys who have no choice but to survive there. In a city where only the power of guns is Justice, boys who think nothing of killing and nothing of death. By the time they realize that violence isn't everything... The film also features captivating violent depictions and cutting work created by innovative visuals, honed through music video direction. Samuel L. Jackson, known for Pulp Fiction, co-stars. An unusual coming-of-age film about a Black youth living in a city dominated by violence and drugs.
