[Product Description]
Saya is a small item case made from Kiryu-ori Kinran, a proud product of Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture.
To allow you to fully appreciate the beauty and texture of Kiryu-ori Kinran, we have used plenty of fabric to create a simple small item case. Because it is simple, it can be used as a fukusa (ceremonial cloth), billfold, passbook case, Goshuincho (temple stamp book) case, souvenir for overseas, or even a tablet case.

We want you to simply feel the beauty of Kiryu's kinran. With that in mind, it is made entirely of kinran. This product has been chosen by many people at events in Tokyo.

Kinran refers to a gorgeous and ornate textile woven with patterns using multi-colored threads and gold or silver foil or threads on a jacquard loom or similar. It has long been used for Buddhist ritual objects, obi sashes, bags for art objects, and Noh costumes.

While Nishijin in Kyoto is famous for kinran, it is also actively woven in Kiryu City, which has a long-standing textile culture and is known as the City of Textiles. The kinran produced in Kiryu City is of high quality and weaving technique, and is widely used for high-end Buddhist ritual objects, doll costumes, and interior accessories, and its beauty is also appreciated overseas.

While kinran woven in Kyoto Nishijin, known as Nishijin-ori Kinran, has high brand recognition, kinran woven in Kiryu has not been specifically distinguished and has been lumped together in the distribution process, making it difficult to identify its Kiryu origin.

For Kiryu-ori Kinran products, we are engaged in promotional activities for Kiryu-ori Kinran by enclosing a Kiryu-ori seal, Kiryu-ori explanation, our original brand name Saya Made in kiryu,Japan, and explanations of our original kinran fabric brand Orihime Kinran.
