Harris Tweed is a textile brand with fans all over the world due to its 100-year-old tradition and the high quality that comes from it.
The wool used as the material is obtained from sheep raised on organic feed in the Harris region (Outer Hebrides, Harris Island, Lewis Island). The wool is spun in the homes of the islanders of the three islands, and the selection of wool and the weaving process are also done by hand. Only after clearing all the strictly defined standards such as dyeing, wool density, and weight, the certification label (Royal Warrant) is given by the Harris Tweed Association.
The charm of Harris Tweed is that it has a unique, rough, natural texture by adding kemp (the white threads that you can see mixed in) to the new wool of lambs.
