Vintage belt buckle Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 label metal belt buckle. Reads: JACK DANIEL'S OLD TIME Old No. 7 BRAND QUALITY Tennessee SOUR MASH WHISKEY 90 PROOF DISTILLED AND BOTTLED BY JACK DANIEL DISTILLERY LEM MOTLOW. PROF. INC. LYNCHBURG. TENN. EST. & REG. IN 1866 The design of the back places this at 70s or 80s. I believe this is Bronze, but it may be brass. There are no other markings on the back Likely made from traditional sand cast method. I believe the line across the back is a cold shut from the casting process. It's beautifully worn. Note that the corner above 'Jack' looks like it was hit with a hammer. I've seen quite a few vintage brass belt buckles, and this one is different.
