Vintage Bon Chef porcelain enamel steamer pan with matching domed lid. This commercial-quality serving and buffet piece features a white/ivory porcelain enamel finish, ornate brass handles, brass trim, and a decorative brass lid finial.  Designed as part of Bon Chef's modular buffetware system, this pan has built-in drainage holes in the bottom and was originally intended to nest into a deeper water pan or base for steaming vegetables, seafood, dumplings, and other foods. It also makes an attractive serving dish or display piece.
