Antique Arita/Seto Export Porcelain Floral Panel Motif Cup & Saucer

Antique blue and white porcelain cup and saucer featuring a repeating floral panel motif with stylized blooms and flowing leaf tendrils. The cup displays layered geometric borders along the rim and base, with matching floral decoration arranged in radiating panels on the saucer. Made in Japan for export, from the Arita Hizen Province / Seto Mino region, Date Range: late Meiji to early Shōwa period (approx. 1890s–1930s) where factories produced porcelain for Western markets inspired by English transferware. The porcelain has an off-white glaze and pronounced surface crazing consistent with age. Both cup and saucer bear impressed marks on the underside, though they are worn and indistinct.
