MCM Ceramic BICO Triple Pear Cookie Jar 10" Tall Floral Accent

Bico China produced whimsical figural ceramic serving pieces and cookie jars during the mid to late 20th century, primarily for the American market. These decorative pieces were designed to add charm to kitchen and dining spaces, featuring realistic fruit and vegetable forms with hand-painted details. The pear design with applied floral and leaf decoration exemplifies the playful, naturalistic aesthetic popular in American home décor from the 1960s through the 1980s. Figural ceramic serving pieces like this pear jar appeal to collectors of vintage kitchenware, mid-century decorative ceramics, and those who appreciate whimsical home accessories. These pieces are valued for their nostalgic charm, craftsmanship, and ability to serve both functional and decorative purposes in contemporary homes. Collectors of Bico China specifically seek these pieces for their quality construction and distinctive designs that capture the cheerful spirit of American domestic life in the latter half of the 20th century. Please note there are some small chips/paint loss over the years.
