Description
Handcrafted Brass Inlay Mini Rosewood Trinket / Pill Box c 1970s India. Brass Inlaid Design on the Top and Brass Plate Ends - Mini at 2.5 x 1.5 x 3/4. The bottom looks like it was stained with ebony, the top left natural and sealed clear. There is a little finger notch on the front edge to aid in lifting the lid. Several available in this pattern of the brass moon and stars. Combined shipping set for multiples. I bought a box full of these many moons ago from a local head shop that was going out of business. Never used deadstock. A few other designs available. The handcrafted nature of the brass inlay is inherent to minor flaws due to the craft. Nothing distracting visual-wise or functioning. Brass may have some old age patina or tooling marks - it has not been polished.
