Type 89 Assault Rifle Training Rubber Gun

Made by Japanese manufacturer [Carrot].

The weight is 4.0kg as shown in the photo, which is the same weight as an 89式 assault rifle with a full magazine.

Since it is made of rubber, it will not rust even if it gets wet.

There are minor scuffs from use, but no chips or bends in the main body. I believe the condition is good.
*Sling is not included.

Gisei-ju (training rubber gun/tactical rubber gun) is a rubber gun model that is already widely used by military and police forces in various countries for training.
The 89R-TRG (Training Rubber Gun) was designed with safety first based on publicly available information, without illegally replicating the 89式 assault rifle. It is a molded product with an iron core wrapped in rubber-like polyurethane resin (high-strength elastomer), making it highly safe and convenient for combat training, training in places where real firearms cannot be brought, and meetings.

The 89R-TRG is a realistic and highly safe training tool that improves the Japanese training environment.
It accurately reproduces the shapes necessary for operation while achieving a form that prioritizes safety.

With the use of this dummy gun, extreme situations such as submerging it in seawater, which was previously difficult to do, are now possible. It saves maintenance time and prevents wear and tear on real firearms.

- This is a safe rubber decoy ideal for training where intense combat is expected.
- Used in training, meetings, and research settings where real firearms cannot be brought in.
- Convenient for situations where the gun may be handled roughly, such as water infiltration training.
- Since it is not a real firearm, it is not restricted by laws and its use is not limited by location.
- The design allows for immediate identification as not a real firearm by a third party.

- New training methods are being implemented in response to the ever-changing global situation.
There is a demand for high safety while reproducing extreme situations.
- It can be used in a variety of situations, from gun handling to ranger training and swimming training with equipment.
It is also ideal for maintaining the proficiency of personnel in occupations that have limited opportunities to handle rifles.

In addition to training purposes, it is also widely used as props for action movies, in the world of theater, and as samples for animation creation.
