Sun Bonnet Sue Vintage Patchwork & Applique Quilt  The backing color is Green. Will consider accepting reasonable offers. It’s cross posted.  Around the squares is green with a floral print fabric.  Cotton  Hand Made in Colorado  It was Exhibited from August 28th till September 1st at the Old School House Quilters Show in Westcliffe, Colorado.  It won the competition  Vintage  Measures in inches 84x74”  The 1st photo is taken on a king size bed.  There are 2 light marks on two different Squares.  This was Hand Made the date it was started was 1939  It was finished in 1970  No holes or rips. Excellent condition for its age. See all photos  ADORABLE embroidery throughout. Sue has the cutest embroidered curls coming out from under her bonnet.  It's all handmade, hand appliqued, hand embroidered, and hand quilted. Cotton fabrics and cotton batting.  As with all antique & vintage textiles, minor imperfections and wear are part of its authenticity and charm.  Any cleaning or restoration, if desired, should be done by the new owner using appropriate antique textile care.  Thank you for your interest.
