VTG Fu & Shou VTG Chinese Character Cufflinks – 90 Silver WAIKEE Hong Kong

Vintage mid-century cufflinks marked “90 SILVER” and “WAIKEE.” These feature traditional Chinese characters associated with good fortune and longevity. One cufflink displays the character 福 (Fu), representing blessing, happiness, and good fortune. The other displays 壽 (Shou), representing longevity and long life. These symbols are commonly paired in Chinese decorative arts as auspicious wishes for prosperity and a long life. The cufflinks are constructed with a bamboo-style bar toggle connected by chain links to round character medallions. The bamboo motif is traditional in Chinese design and symbolizes strength and resilience.
