Description
This has me stumped, but I wasn't about the leave it behind! I can't say exactly what it was made for. It is cut like a bed skirt, without the fullness of the drop ruffle (the drop portion measures 19). It looks like there MAY have been elastic in the bottom corners at one time, but I can't say for sure. Usually on something this vintage you can hear the cracking of old elastic, but not with this. Rest assured, it is not stretchy. I've included some measurements of different possible applications. It appears to fit closest to a queen, and it folds over the entire bed like a bed skirt would, only it's decorative and lays on the top. If any of you have a clue, drop me a line! It feels like cotton and has a gorgeous Hawaiian print. Minor pilling on the piping and small discoloration (pictured). ~Spread goodness today~ God Bless
