VTG Grant’s London Octagonal Coffee Tin 1950s English Litho Retro Kitchenalia
Grant’s London
This exceptional vintage Grant’s London coffee tin is a standout piece of mid-century advertising history. Dating from the late 1940s to early 1950s, this tin is highly prized for its intricate lithographed graphics designed to mimic the appearance of hand-laid tiles and fine aged porcelain. The rare octagonal shape features a classic portrait of a young woman framed by vibrant floral motifs, while the lid showcases the iconic London Tower Bridge. This specimen has been remarkably well-preserved, maintaining its structural integrity and vivid color. Era: Mid-Century (Late 1940s / Early 1950s). Eight-sided (octagonal) with a deliberate crackle effect in the print to add vintage character. Aesthetic: A perfect anchor piece for Cottagecore, English Country, or Eclectic Maximalist decor. Dimensions: Approximately 4.5 Height x 4 Width. Vintage condition with minor shelf wear and light rust consistent with age. Vibrant and 100% intact; the fine lines in the background are a deliberate part of the factory print. Minor surface rust present (found along the seams or bottom rim); no major dents or structural warping. The lid fits securely and flush. Please refer to photos for details.
