Description
What a beauty! Antique Japanese Wood Ikebana Vase with Inlaid Copper Accents: a Bird and Leaves on a Vine. Reasonable offers considered. This lovely solid, hand hewn Kiri wood base was created in the Maki-e style, which is a layered lacquer technique, likely in the Taishō Period (1920s - 40s) or just after. SIZE: The vase measures just under 12 tall and 4.5 diameter. CONDITION: This beautiful vase has a few of the expected signs of age and use, such as some nicks and/or scratches in the wood. The lacquered copper design is perfect. It does NOT come with its original liner. — Tree trunk vase Art vase Arts and crafts
