Ohnusa (Great Wand) Harai-gushi (Purification Wand) Hemp With Stand
33.00 $
Description
Produced with supervision and quality checks by Shinto priests.
Please understand that this is a handmade item.
The stick and base are made from fragrant cypress wood.
The item pictured is the actual product and is brand new and unused.
Made with high-quality Japanese paper.
The base is included as a bonus, so you can display it upright.
The white Japanese paper parts of the shide, which symbolize thunder, are layered in two sheets. If you separate them one by one, the fluffy texture will become even more voluminous.
It looks good as is.
It is believed that sins, impurities, and disasters are transferred to the ōnusa (a Shinto ritual tool), and by shaking it left and right, they are purified.
