Old Baccarat Crystal
Gouvieux Tumbler Glasses, Set of 6
The Rohan series from Baccarat has been loved for generations. This listing is for a set of six 8cm tall tumblers from the Gouvieux line, which is no longer in production and features a distinctive barrel shape.
While the depth of the etching varies with the production era of Rohan, these pieces are superb examples from a period when the arabesque pattern was deeply and clearly engraved. The pattern, created with a delicate acid etching technique, possesses a depth like antique lace, allowing you to appreciate the meticulous craftsmanship with your fingertips.
The 8cm height fits comfortably in the hand with a substantial feel. This popular size is perfect for enjoying whiskey on the rocks with one or two ice cubes, and also serves well as a vessel for beer, cold sake, or cold tea.
The quiet harmony created by the set of six glasses and the sparkle of the crystal will add a subtle touch of elegance to your special moments. We hope you will enjoy these as practical antiques for many years to come.
