MOUNTAIN WARE BYYC Sugar Pot, Showa Retro

Thank you for looking.

This is a Showa-era retro sugar pot.
It features a rural landscape with a house, depicted in a beautiful single blue color. Although the writing is faded, MOUNTAIN WARE BYYC is written on the bottom. I searched the web but could not find detailed information about the manufacturer of items listed on flea market or auction sites. This item was found during a clean-out of my parents' home and is estimated to be about 40 years old.

Size:
Diameter: Approx. 9cm
Height including lid handle: Approx. 9cm

Condition:
This is a ceramic piece with crazing, as shown in image 5.
There are stains and scratches on the inside bottom of the pot. I tried cleaning it with baking soda, but it did not come off (images 8 & 9).
There are two pinprick spots on the surface of the lid. They are slightly difficult to see due to the lighting, but are indicated by the clips in image 14.
There is a ceramic crack on the underside of the lid and chipping on the rim (images 16 & 17).
In addition to the above, there are ceramic bumps and slight dirt.

We kindly ask for your understanding that this is a vintage used item before considering your purchase.
