* The fibrous roots are also sticky and delicious, so please enjoy them.
How to prepare the skin (my own method):
Snap off from the root end and pull upwards to peel off the thin skin.
Repeat on the other side by snapping and pulling. Continue this process. Even if some skin remains, it's soft and won't be noticeable.
Boil in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, or to your desired tenderness. Then, rinse in cold water and drain.
After boiling the fibrous roots, gather them, chop them to release their stickiness, and enjoy with ponzu soy sauce or other seasonings.
