Spode Floral Cup & Saucer Set of 2 - B-grade Brocante Vintage

Spode
Cup and Saucer Set - 2 Sets
Origin: United Kingdom
Please read carefully as this is a set of 2 items with defects.

There are crazing and small scratches typical of antiques and vintage items, but the surface is shiny and clean.

These are a set of 2 items with defects:
One has grayish stains on the top and bottom of the base.
One has a crack in the handle but is still usable.
Please check the images carefully and contact us if you have any questions.

Both saucers are very clean, and the indentation for the cup is gentle, so if you don't mind, you can also use them as plates, which would be a great deal.
An additional saucer can be added for ￥1,000 if desired.

Please only purchase if you understand the characteristics of vintage, antique, and used items.
Please note that these items have different characteristics from new products sold in department stores.

This is the Gainsborough series, a vintage cream-colored floral rimmed bread plate made in England.
Although it is a bread plate, it is a versatile size that is easy to use in daily life for Japanese people.

Rich in color, harmonious, and unpretentious in its splendor, the diverse floral hues create a full European mood, making it a truly lovely, wonderful, and rare gem.
The colors are vibrant and radiant due to traditional underglaze printing.

I purchased this in the United States from a set of 8 that was being sold off by an American millionaire. The set included dinner plates, bread plates, small and large bowls, cups and saucers... like a royal set, and was in considerable beautiful condition.
I have not used them and have only kept them in my cupboard.
I have decided to sell them off little by little, so I would be happy to pass them on to someone who appreciates their value.

Recommended for those who like brocante, flea markets, antiques, and vintage items!
Thank you for looking.
