Description
This is a cup and saucer set from NIKKO's Double Phoenix series in the Sansui (Red) design. There are 5 cups and 6 saucers.
They are old, but I believe they are in good condition.
Three of the saucers have what look like cracks, but they do not affect usability. All saucers have small indentations, like dimples. Please check the images.
This series has been a long-selling product since its production began in 1908 (Meiji 41).
It is made of hard porcelain called IRONSTONE, which has excellent heat retention and is more resistant to impact than general porcelain.
The design features a landscape painting, and this is the red variation.
The original box is not included. It will be shipped wrapped in bubble wrap.
