Handmade Wooden Sign - Custom Order Sign - Free Shipping - Japanese Style Brushstroke - Natural Wood - Soba, Ramen, Izakaya - Gift - Grand Opening Celebration

This is a plank for a sign.

The wood is mahogany, a rare natural wood with live edges. In Japanese, it is written as 桃花心木 and read as mahogany. It is a popular wood used for high-end furniture, musical instruments, and more.

The maximum dimensions are 25 cm (height) x 91.3 cm (width) x 2 cm (thickness).

The surface has been sanded, lightly scorched, colored with a brown paint, and then coated with urethane varnish.

There are some insect holes, cracks, and splits, but these add to the aged, established, and luxurious feel of this old wood.
Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such imperfections.

The plank alone is ￥8,800.

We also offer lettering services at an additional ￥700 per character.
For example, for 5 characters, the price would be ￥8,800 + ￥3,500 (@￥700 x 5) = ￥12,300, including free shipping.

As this is handled through Mercari with anonymous shipping and addresses, the details of the lettering style and layout are generally left to our discretion.

If you would like lettering, please contact us in the comment section before purchasing, and we will adjust the price after providing a quote.
