Hagi ware matcha bowl, artist unknown
44.88 $
Description
This is a Hagi matcha bowl.
Hagi ware tea bowl.
It came in a wooden box, but I have discarded it. I believe it is Hagi ware. There are no markings, so I do not know the artist, era, or other details.
I would like to pass it on to someone who can appreciate it.
It is unused. There is an area on the bottom where the glaze is not applied, but this is not a chip; it is part of the original design.
The generous glaze creates beautiful crackling, and the light pink color adds a touch of cuteness.
Size:
Diameter approx. 14cm
Height approx. 8cm
Thank you for your consideration.
Hagi ware, 7th generation Kaneda Sanzaemon creation, Hagi tea bowl.
