Prefers dry conditions. Be careful of overwatering. Geraniums tend to prefer dryness and are often killed by overwatering. Do not water until the soil has dried out. If the soil remains wet for an extended period, the roots will rot and the plant will die.

From spring to autumn, water when the soil is dry. In summer, check the soil condition and water twice a day, in the morning and evening, if it is dry. If water accumulates in the saucer, discard it. Stagnant water can cause rot and disease.
