Osmanthus produces many small orange flowers on a single branch. It has a distinctive fragrance and is well-known as an autumn flower, loved by many. It is one of the representative plants of autumn, blooming in orange from September to October. The tree grows to a height of 5-6 meters. Its most notable feature is its fragrance. The aroma of Osmanthus flowers is a poetic symbol of the arrival of autumn. It is called one of the world's three most fragrant trees and has a very pleasant scent. Along with Daphne odora and Gardenia jasminoides, it is counted as one of the world's three most fragrant trees. Daphne odora blooms in spring, Gardenia in summer, and Osmanthus in autumn, each with a different blooming period. You might consider planting all three in your garden to enjoy different scents each season. ☆彡
Fertilizing in February-March with a base fertilizer and again in April-May when new shoots appear will promote good growth. Fertilizing again in August-September before flowering will result in abundant blooms.
