Ikebana Black Round Basin Ceramic Extra Large Round Kenzan 10.5cm Moribana Sougetsu Ohara School Flower Vase
19.80 $
Description
Diameter: 31cm
Height: 6cm
Weight: Just over 2.1kg
A round flower basin used for practicing basic moribana (piled-up flower arrangement) styles.
Glossy black finish.
Includes an unopened set of an extra-large 10.5cm diameter kenzan (flower frog).
The basin has some faint marks from where the kenzan was placed and from water levels on the inside. These marks are at a depth of about 3.5cm, so they will be completely hidden when water is added as they are quite low down.
The kenzan is an extra-large size that isn't often used, but it's the season for arrangements featuring pine, plum, dogwood, and magnolia, as well as branches! Come on, spring!
At 950g, it should also be quite effective as a weight.
If sold separately:
Basin: ￥1800
Kenzan: ￥1700
