Amakusa Toraseki with Stand, Showa Retro, Japanese Modern, Display Stone
27.72 $
Description
This is an Amakusa Toraishi stone with a striking, calm striped pattern.
It has a rugged stone surface and a nostalgic, subdued atmosphere.
This is one of my father's cherished stones.
He enjoyed making and collecting viewing stones, and the base for this item was also made by him.
It features flowing stripes and the natural strength of a stone, fitting well in a modern Japanese space.
While not flashy, it possesses a calm charm reminiscent of old Showa-era tools, making it a stone to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace.
The front central part appears to be a natural pattern, but there are scratches on the left side, extending towards the rear center and the back. Therefore, the price has been reduced.
Please check the photos for the condition.
You can enjoy its texture more by wetting it with water or polishing it with a cloth.
Weight: Approx. 0.65kg (see photos)
Size: Approx. 13cm (height) x 7.5cm (width) x 4.5cm (depth)
*Please note that there may be slight errors due to amateur measurements.
We hope to pass it on to someone who will cherish it.
Recommended for viewing, collection, or interior decoration.
*Please refrain from significant price reductions.
*It will be sold as-is.
