Seachem Matrix - For Freshwater and Saltwater Aquariums
Suitable for: Both freshwater and saltwater aquariums
Features:
● This high-density porous filter media provides highly effective biological filtration for processing ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate in both saltwater and freshwater aquariums.
● Each unit has a surface area of over 160,000 cm2, equivalent to more than 48 liters of standard plastic bio-balls.
● Its internal porous areas are ideal for the colonization of nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria.
Usage Instructions:
● Use 1-2 liters per 400 liters of water.
● Particularly effective when used in sealed filters. Use a filter bag as needed.
● Also ideal for wet or dry filtration systems. In such cases, place it in an area with the highest water flow.
● In freshwater aquariums with a stocking density of one fish per 8 liters, or in saltwater aquariums with one fish per 15 liters, 1 liter can process approximately 200-400 liters of water.
● Can be used in conjunction with adsorbents like Hyperrenew or SeaGel for even more effective filtration.
