■ Explanation
In recent years, attention has been focused on its effects against cancer. In Chinese medicine shops, reishi mushrooms are sold under the name Baikisei (plum parasite), and the high-grade products sold as Reishi are actually Mannentake, a type of reishi mushroom. While reishi mushrooms were not commonly used in the past, they have recently gained attention and are now being commercialized.
