Atomic Grape Tomato Seeds - 5 seeds
Open-pollinated variety
Domestic seed production
*These seeds were harvested from plants grown using natural farming methods without the use of fertilizers or pesticides.
■ Characteristics
A large mini tomato with a multi-colored appearance. The base color ripens from green to red and brown, with purple anthocyanin stripes. The shape can vary slightly, with some being more rounded. The flesh is olive green. When fully ripe, its unique appearance is not just for show; it is sweet and has excellent flavor. It has slender leaves and a graceful plant habit, but produces a high yield and is relatively easy to grow, making it ideal for home gardens.
■ Uses
Best eaten fresh in salads, etc. The best time to harvest is when the skin turns reddish and feels slightly soft to the touch. They also have a relatively good shelf life after harvest. When cooked into tomato sauce, they become exceptionally sweet.
Sowing Period: Mid-March in a warm seedbed. Mid-April in a cool seedbed. Direct sowing outdoors from May.
Germination Optimal Temperature: 25-28℃
Growing Optimal Temperature: Optimal 20-25℃
■ Cultivation Method
Plant height is about 180cm. Plant at intervals of about 60cm. To produce high-sugar tomatoes, manage them to be slightly dry, such as using rain protection, and control water intake. Excessive nitrogen fertilizer can lead to vigorous plant growth and make them difficult to manage. Outdoor cultivation is possible as long as it is not too hot and humid.
