Harvested in May 2026.
These plants are vigorous enough to spread by self-seeding.
The bell-shaped flowers that nod like lily of the valley are very cute.
The leaves contain potassium, calcium, nitrogen, phosphorus, etc., and make excellent fertilizer when torn up and mixed with fallen leaves.

At our home, we make simple leaf mold by leaving a few comfrey leaves along with weeds in a pile.

You can also find instructions online for making liquid fertilizer.
