Here is the manufacturer's response:
Regarding the cause of the accelerator lever not responding, we were unable to determine the cause as it operated without issue during our operational checks. However, the following are the main possible reasons for the accelerator lever not responding or the vehicle not moving:
[Possible Cause ①] The clutch lever may be in the N Neutral position.

[Possible Cause ②] The battery may not be properly attached to the main unit.
→ Please ensure that the battery and the main unit are in close contact (with no gaps).
[Possible Cause ③] The reset button may be popped out.
→ If the reset button near the center of the battery is popped out, it will cause an overload to the motor, so please press the reset button.
