A26 Large Driftwood, Water-Treated, Reptile Shelter, Climbing Wood, Interior Decor, Ikebana

Please read the profile section as it also serves as a description before purchasing.

Cut, sanded, and smoothed.

Hollow driftwood.

Size approx. (cm): Longest part approx. 83cm, Diameter approx. 7-9cm.

*Size is approximate due to irregular shape, perceived in space.

Some pieces have been cut, sanded, and smoothed. This process enhances texture, improves appearance, removes wood dust and splinters, and adds many positive aspects. We strive to remove negative aspects of the driftwood as much as possible.

Selection, pruning, light processing
↓
Leaching (minimum 1 month / with water changes)
Why is leaching essential? For example, some types of driftwood, after leaching, are found to be of insufficient quality for listing (about 40% by feel) and are discarded. The remaining 60% turn out to be excellent. Since the true quality can only be determined after leaching, we state that it is a mandatory process.
↓
Sorting/washing of driftwood that has sunk during leaching.
?? Driftwood confirmed to have sunk will be marked accordingly.
↓
Drying (short period of sun drying / followed by shade drying)
Reason: To prevent sunburn from leaching from reappearing.
↓
Processing as needed (cutting/sanding/smoothing, etc.)
Final confirmation.

Refer to the accompanying objects for size comparison.

?? While some pieces may stand on their own, please secure them to prevent falling and use them with care. Some photos may show the driftwood propped up. Please refer to the images.

*As these are natural items, there may be dirt, cracks, insect damage, or remaining insects. There may also be residual sand or the unique smell of driftwood. Please only purchase if you understand and accept this. We have processed them as much as possible, but please use them at your own risk.
