Specimen of the Summer Form Green-Banded Swallowtail (Papilio bianor)
16.50 $
Description
The beautiful blue-green iridescence of the wings is not due to pigment, but to structural color produced by the microstructures present in the wing scales.
Therefore, even when preserved as a specimen, the colors do not fade, and the iridescent shine changes with the angle of light.
The wooden frame provides excellent preservation, making it ideal not only as a teaching material for science education and independent research projects, but also as an interior decoration or collectible.
Size: Frame approx. 15cm x 15cm
Materials: Natural butterfly specimen, wooden frame, glass cover

Due to rising procurement costs, we have revised our prices.
The main factor is the increase in import costs due to currency fluctuations (weakening yen).
We have made every effort to maintain prices, but we have unfortunately had to implement a price increase to preserve the current quality.
We appreciate your understanding.
