This is a masterpiece of crystal glass from Old Baccarat (BACCARAT), the pinnacle of French crystal, known as a renowned piece from the mid to late 19th century. It is a large compote (cake stand/trinket dish/fruit basket) with a Cote d'Alternee Depoli design, featuring a pattern of raised and recessed clear crystal forming radial stripes.

This is an extremely rare piece of banded molded decoration crystal.

Enjoy its beauty for various purposes, such as a cake stand, for serving fruits and dishes, or as a place to display accessories.

There is a relief signature of BACCARAT and a manufacturing number on the bottom, which is occasionally found on pieces from that era.
