Rare! Floss Silk Tree Seedling & 20 Seed Set
10.00 $
Description
Set includes 20 seeds and 1 seedling of the Bottle Tree (Ceiba speciosa)!
The Bottle Tree, also known as the South American Cherry Blossom, blooms with beautiful pink flowers, much like cherry blossoms, from autumn to winter in Okinawa. It's a popular tree found along streets and in parks throughout the prefecture.
Flowering Season (October - December): Vibrant pink, five-petaled flowers bloom abundantly on the tree.
Cotton Season (April - May): In spring, rugby ball-shaped pods split open, revealing a magical sight of seeds enveloped in white, fluffy kapok cotton drifting down.
