The season for vibrant red hibiscus flowers has begun.
This is a 2-year-old seedling grown from cuttings.
Height: 50cm
Width: 40cm
If you transplant it into a larger pot after arrival and fertilize it about once a month, it will grow larger, extend its branches, and produce bigger flowers.
When the minimum temperature drops to around 15°C in autumn, prune it to about two-thirds of its size and bring it indoors. It will bloom again next year.
If you put the pruned branches in water, they will root and you can propagate more plants.
If you don't prune and simply keep it in a warm room during winter, you can enjoy its flowers even in winter.
This is an easy-to-grow variety with a cute flower shape.
