Conifer
This is a rare, large specimen of the very popular Blue Ice conifer.
Its well-formed shape and beautiful, vibrant silver-blue foliage create a stylish and modern atmosphere.
Height: Approximately 190cm from the bottom of the pot.
Width: Approximately 60cm. It is in a 10-gallon pot and is large.
*The pot cover is not included.
This specimen has been pruned to create a voluminous and beautiful shape. Two thick trunks in a 10-gallon pot maintain a beautiful form.
It is also heat and cold tolerant, making it an easy-to-grow conifer that can be enjoyed both in the garden and in pots.
It rarely dies, so you can enjoy its beautiful foliage for many years, making it recommended for beginners.
The name Blue Ice seems to come from its foliage, which shines in a blue-green color, appearing as if it's covered in ice.
While the foliage is beautiful year-round, the color changes from green to blue as summer turns into winter.
Currently, the foliage is a refreshing silver-green with a hint of blue.
As autumn progresses into winter, the blue tones become stronger, and around Christmas in December, it reaches its most beautiful silver-blue hue, making it perfect as a Christmas tree (see photos 9-10).
Although it is a conifer, its needles are soft and not prickly, so children can touch it safely.
Furthermore, Blue Ice is a conifer of the cypress family, and its foliage releases a refreshing forest scent.
