Sawara rice container
36.30 $
Description
This item is believed to have been acquired about 40 years ago. The black stains on the lid are resin sap. These are natural components of the wood and are completely harmless. For first-time users, we will include instructions on how to prepare the wood and care for it. The paper is also discolored, which we believe is due to the sap being absorbed while inside the rice bin. Woods with high resin content are water-resistant, durable, and possess natural antibacterial properties, making them long-lasting.
[Size: Inner diameter 23.5cm, Height 17.3cm, Lid diameter 29cm, Lid depth 5cm, Lid overhang 6cm]
