This is a heat-resistant clay pot for direct flame use from Tokoname ware.

Made from a material that will not crack even when placed directly on a flame. (Cannot be used for dry heating.)

Glazed in brown and fired at 1200 degrees Celsius.

《Uses》
● Boiling health teas (turmeric, Houttuynia cordata, Japanese gentian)
● Boiling barley tea
● Boiling water

《Handling Precautions》
● Be careful of burns as it will be placed directly on a flame.
● As it is made of ceramic, it may crack if dropped or struck.
● Due to its absorbency, it may appear to seep water slightly when first used, but this will stop as the pores become clogged with use.

《Points to Note》
※ Due to the hand-applied glaze, there may be slight variations in color density.
※ The lid is made slightly smaller than the body.
※ The box may have faded due to being in stock. The product itself is not affected.

※ There may be areas where the glaze is rubbed off due to hand application. Please refer to the photos.

After use, please wash promptly (detergent is acceptable), rinse with water, and dry thoroughly. Please be aware that soaking in chlorine bleach may leave a lingering odor.
