After collection, materials were boiled, sun-dried.
Pine cones have been brushed to remove debris and seeds.
Acorns were frozen, then sun-dried and wiped with a towel.
Some items with caps are natural, while others have been secured with glue.
The Machilus thunbergii acorns are not cracked, but due to drying, they are starting to crack with lines. We've intentionally left them as is, as we find them charming.
