This is a Yanagiba knife with the inscription Yoshimasa.
Overall length: 37 cm
Blade length: 23 cm
The blade has been sharpened with an 8000 grit whetstone.
While not confirmed, it is believed to be from Yoshimasa Cutlery, a long-established cutlery shop in Akita Prefecture.
Judging by the material of the bolster, it was made a long time ago.
I would be happy to sell it to anyone who appreciates it.
