Kuzu Silk Noren Curtain, Width 83 x Height 150 cm

This handmade noren (Japanese curtain) is made from fabric woven with silk warp threads using kudzu, a plant also counted among the Seven Autumn Flowers, known for kudzukiri and kuzumochi.
The kudzu has a simple, natural texture from handweaving.
This is a high-quality noren, combining the smooth texture and luster of silk threads.

When light, such as from lighting, hits the fabric, the silk threads create a beautiful luster (see first photo).
The transparency of the material is shown in the second photo (photo without lighting).
While it is difficult to fully convey the texture in photos, kudzu silk is an exceptionally high-quality fabric.
This product is for the noren only; a tension rod is not included.
The product will be shipped folded, so creases will remain upon opening.
Please note that while we have attempted to iron out creases, some may remain that cannot be removed (see fourth photo, etc.).
