asahineko Dustpan Broom Koizumi Makoto Handled Dustpan Stylish Cleaning Tools

Purchased about 2 years ago and used a few times, it has been mostly displayed as interior decor. It was stored upright, with the broom handle hooked onto the dustpan handle, so the brush part is elevated, and I believe it is in beautiful condition with minimal damage. It's very cute and has a lovely woody scent, but I'd be happy to pass it on to someone who can use it, as it feels like a waste not to. The dustpan's metal fitting is attached with screws and will be removed for shipping.

The brand name asahineko is a collective term for daily life tools made from Kiso Itsuki (Hinoki cypress, Sawara cypress, Koya-maki, Nezuko, Asunaro) that grow in Tsukechi. In the local dialect, it's a familiar phrase taught to children when they learn the names of trees.
We have focused on designs that become familiar to the user over the years, utilizing the benefits of coniferous trees, which are prone to scratches but also have a pleasant scent and are lightweight and easy to handle.
