This is a German-made Kaiser cake pan with a removable bottom. A versatile 24cm cake pan perfect for sponge cakes, tarts, and mousses. Since the bottom is also removable, it's useful not only for baked goods like sponge cakes and tarts but also for chilled desserts like mousses. While basic Japanese sizes are often 18cm or 21cm, this larger 24cm, a European/American standard, is quite rare. It's easy to remove the cake after baking or setting, so the finished product won't lose its shape. The Teflon coating also makes it resistant to stains and easy to clean.

Purchased in the US several decades ago. Used probably less than 10 times, and then stored away for many years. As shown in the photos, there are some shallow scratches on the base, but they do not affect usability. The original box shows signs of age, use, and dirt.

Springform pans allow you to loosen the sides using a clamp lever. The ring opens, allowing you to remove or reattach the pan's base. Cakes baked in a springform pan are not inverted. Simply loosen the clamp lever and lift the ring to remove the cake. The base is slightly larger than the ring, so no batter will leak out.
