Custom-made at a Shuro broom workshop in Wakayama.
As it is made by a single craftsman, I recall waiting about a year from order to completion.
I received it in 2020.

Currently, this is the only place that makes Hon Onige brooms. It is also a broom of exquisite design.
The long handle is a major point that contributes to ease of use.

A broom made using traditional methods, where a craftsman hand-collects each strong shuro fiber, known as 'Hon Onige,' of which only about 10 strands can be obtained from a single shuro leaf. Hon Onige brooms are said to last for decades if cared for properly, due to their durability. They offer a firm and resilient sweeping experience. Repairable.

The bristles are so firm that the broom can stand on its own. I used it for a while after purchase, but it was stored hanging in a place out of direct sunlight.

While there may be some age-related changes, I believe it can be said that there is no damage from use.
As it is a natural product, some bristles may be slightly bent due to humidity or other factors. Please understand this point.

I would like to pass it on to someone who will use it extensively.

It will be shipped wrapped in bubble wrap.
