Hand-spun silk
Warm and wonderfully soft to the touch.
Overlaid with a light application of soot dye on a chrysanthemum-dyed base.
The result is a khaki-like color.
The edges are slightly frayed due to the dyeing process (they were originally cut raw).
There is some pilling.

Can be used as a sheet, a light blanket, or a quilt.
Alternatively, it can be used as a multi-purpose cloth for sofas, or as fabric for handmade items.
