This item was found during a clean-out of my parents' home.
The beautiful Uchikake design, with black glaze flowing over a calm amber glaze, creates a striking presence just by being displayed.
Both the exterior and interior have been washed.
There are some minor scuffs on the bottom due to storage, but there are no major cracks or chips, and it can still be used actively.
There is a spot near the bottom inside that looks like a glaze peel (see photo), but I believe it will not affect use.

For storing homemade miso, pickled plums, fermented vegetables, etc.
As a rice storage container (rice bin)
For raising medaka (Japanese killifish) or as a Japanese-style planter cover
It would also be lovely as an interior decoration with dried flowers.

Please consider this if you don't mind used items.
