Description
These are the tatōshi (paper wrappers for kimono) that came with the kimono I received from my mother-in-law.
They are completely different from modern ones, so I couldn't bring myself to throw them away.
They are in tatters. Of course, they can no longer be used as tatōshi.
There are also stains.
I have cut off any cellophane or cotton tape.
Some have koyori (twisted paper) strings, which I have not removed.
I aired them out on a dry day (mushiboshi).
I am listing these items because I thought there might be someone who needs old Japanese paper, even in this condition.
