Description
We use only the bones of fresh cuttlefish caught using squid basket fishing.
After thoroughly washing them with water to remove slime and ink stains, they are arranged in a steamer and dried in the sun to create jōgami (dried product).
Depending on the weather and season, if it rains continuously and drying is not possible, they may be dried in a drying room and then finished with sun-drying.
As this is something that living creatures will consume, we store it properly.
Regarding storage after purchase, please refrain from storing it in humid places. High humidity or moisture can cause mold. If it gets wet, please dry it slightly in the sun.
We pack carefully for shipping, but as this is a fragile item, it may chip or break. Please only purchase if you are agreeable to this possibility.
