This is rice husk from Tochigi Prefecture, harvested last year.
It has been stored outdoors, so please excuse any inclusions such as rice straw, small stones, or dead leaves.

Uses for Rice Husk:
It can be used for various purposes such as home gardening, horticulture, soil improvement, and as a weed control material.
If you spread rice husk in the soil or on the soil surface during the cold early spring, it will prevent the soil temperature from dropping, thus increasing seed germination rates.

Rice husk can also be spread on rice paddies and fields, and it will eventually turn into soil over time, so it is safe to leave it as is.

The rice husk will be spread out in a shaded, well-ventilated area to dry and remove moisture. Upon receiving your order, we will divide 90 liters of dried rice husk into two plastic bags, pack them into a 140-size cardboard box, and ship it.
